Roads in North Yorkshire Made Safer

With fourteen signs currently installed and more to come, we believe they will be successful in keeping traffic travelling through these towns to the correct speed.”

The signage appears to have been effective with motorists responding to the warnings and adhering to the speed limit, a success for the local parishes, North Yorkshire County Council and TWM. In addition, over 60% of the signs installed in North Yorkshire are environmentally friendly with them being powered by either wind or solar energy. TWM has also introduced signage that can be powered by lithium ion batteries, another more environmentally friendly alternative to 230 V power.

We’re delighted that we supplied more wind and solar powered signs than ever before in 2019 and we’re already looking forward to eclipsing this achievement moving forward.”
